Environmental, Geotechnical & Exploration Drilling
Marathon Drilling's environmental and geotechnical drilling division is equipped with track, truck, portable, fly-in, remote hydraulic and shack mounted drilling rigs for geotechnical, environmental and exploration projects. These rigs run both conventional and hollow stem augers, all automatic sample hammers and wireline coring systems. They are capable of drilling vertical and angled holes up to 2600m deep.
In keeping with our commitment to safety, all of our drillers are trained and carry certificates in WHIMIS, confined space, fall arrest, Norcat, Surface Miner Common Core, due diligence, transportation of dangerous goods, traffic control, St John's Ambulance first aid and CPR.
