What is Pipe Ramming?

Pipe ramming is a trenchless method for installing steel pipes, in which a pneumatic hammer is attached to the rear of the bore pipe.

The ramming tool (basically a piston enclosed in a tube) drives the pipe through the ground with repeated percussive blows.
