Pipe Ramming

Marathon Drilling’s line of pipe ramming machines provides pneumatic pipe installation in diameters ranging from 300mm to 1800mm and lengths of up to 200m. We have one of the largest selections of hammers ranging in NA with sizes ranging from 200mm to 600mm. Like Jack and Bore or Tunnel Boring Machines (TBM), Pipe Rammers are useful tools in certain types of soil conditions. It is a proven methodology and has been used successfully in many utility installation projects around the world. It can effectively install not only new utility infrastructures, but can also be used for Overpiping;  driving a new pipe over top of an existing culvert or utility pipe to swallow it up.
